Fundraising for Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care

During the autumn term, a team of Yr12 students took part in the Accumulator Challenge - a fundraising initiative set up by Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care.  Loreto has been taking part in this challenge since 2019 and, every September, the charity gives £30 to a new Yr12 team.  The team’s challenge is to raise as much money as possible by Christmas and (as a bit of friendly competition!) each team tries to raise more money than the team the year before!

We are delighted to say that this year’s team has raised the most money ever!

Total: £2,415!

This, in itself, is a fantastic amount but it also means that, since 2019, the Loreto Yr12 Accumulator Challenge teams have cumulatively raised a total of £11,760 for Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care.

Huge congratulations to this year’s team members:

Amelie, Amy, Chiara, Freddie, Isabella, Joelle, Niamh, Peggy-Rose, Tosin, Samarah & Serena

The team's fundraising activities included making cakes for Open Evening, running the ‘Cosy Night In’ for Yr7s and 8s, taking part in a sponsored walk, making and selling 3D cat phone holders, running bingo games, a Christmas candy cane gift delivery service and a mobile tuck shop on Revue day.

A huge thank you to all those who have generously supported them.  If you would like to donate please visit their fundraising page:  LINK
