Overview
Loreto St Albans is an 11-18 girls’ academy recognised in October 2024 by OFSTED as outstanding in the four key areas. With the support of our enthusiastic and accomplished staff our students achieve excellent results, and the Progress 8 performance measure has regularly placed Loreto in the top 2% of schools in the country. The school is oversubscribed and has earned an excellent reputation for discipline, pastoral care and academic standards.
For September 2026, we are looking to appoint a well-qualified and dynamic teacher of maths to join a well-established, effective and supportive department. The successful candidate will have a passion for the subject and will be required to teach across the whole ability and age range up to GCSE. Experience teaching A level would be an advantage although not essential. Applications from ECTs are welcome.
In the first instance this is to cover the parental leave of a member of the team. However, for the right candidate there is the possibility that the post could develop into a permanent position.
