Britannica Schools Quiz Challenge

Pupils tested their science knowledge as they competed against each other over two lunchtimes to represent Loreto in the regional heat of the 2023 What on Earth! Magazine Schools Quiz Challenge.  Eliza 8Y, Yan 8S, Orleta 7S and Saoirse 8Y were the top four scorers and will now compete as a team online against other schools in the 11-14 category on Monday 6 November in the UK's biggest and best Non-Fiction Quiz Championship.   Mr Carter, who was the in-school quiz master for the qualifying heats, commented: "The competition was tough, they all did really well.  We're really exited to be entering a team again this year. "
