April 1st / Today our Y7 pupils took part in a “2p Challenge” to raise money for their chosen charity.  Girls collected 2 pence pieces and brought them in to be put into each class’s collective pot.  We then went onto the tennis courts and they lined up all their coins.  The event was really well supported by Year 7.  Much fun was had as the girls laid out their coins – despite a howling wind and even some hail stones!  7T won with the longest line, which doubled-back to over half the length of the tennis court in addition to their full line.  7J were a very close second.  Well done everyone for an amazing effort in collecting so many 2ps.  We will announce the actual amount collected by Year 7 at a later date.
