March 12th / Nadine Mawn tells us about a French play the Year 7 pupils watched in school yesterday …

“The World’s Gone French” was about a boy called Nathan.  His mother had bought him a jigsaw puzzle from the local charity shop with countries on it.  However, some of the pieces were missing and everyone including his sister, his mum and his gran started speaking in French.  It was really funny and everyone in the whole room was laughing, even the teachers!  One particular bit that I enjoyed was when a lady spilt her groceries on the ground and she invited volunteers to come on stage to help pick them up.

It was really amusing when Nathan could not understand why people around him were speaking in French.  I would give the play 10/10.
