Nov 17th / St Albans Youth Council (SAYC) is a group of young people aged 11-19 from across the district of St Albans.  Youth Councillors lobby the District Council on local youth issues, raises money for charities, research local issues and try to act as a voice for young people.

One of the SAYC members is Laura Van Winden in Y10.  She would be grateful if Loreto pupils and teachers would complete a survey that is being used to assess current mental health services and needs.  The Council wishes to investigate whether there is a gap between seeking and getting help.  They hope to use the data gathered to help shape a new funding policy around youth mental health.
