Last week our Year 10 Food Tech students made mille feuille. This is a dessert which is made of fruit, cream, and pastry; they also added some icing on top by using the feathering technique. They made this dessert over the course of two days: day one included preparing the ingredients, making the pastry, and cooking it, and day two consisted of assembling the millie feuille and making the icing to go on top. This was a very fun dish to make and it tasted absolutely amazing!
