Students in Year 8 were lucky enough to have their MFL Fun Day last Thursday.
The day included a carousel of engaging and fun sessions and workshops.

Certificates and prizes were awarded to the following most enthusiastic and proactive students – congratulations!

  • 8F – Ruby Cross
  • 8J – Tianna Asare-Appiah
  • 8S – Amelia Konwicka
  • 8T – Fearne Green
  • 8Y – Janelle Arhin

We thank Mrs Fitzsimons and the whole MFL Department for organising this wonderfully worthwhile experience for our students.

Here are some reflections from our Year 8 students:

I learnt that there are many reasons why you should learn a foreign language – today was amazing. (Poppy Hooper)

Today, I learnt about the culture of Saudi Arabia, some Spanish greetings, different music styles from a range of countries, the diversity of languages and flag meanings. (Freya McAdam)

I loved the ways we were taught, which made it easy to understand. I also have a new love for brioches. (Emphine Elsy)

An amazing range of activities and fun new learning experiences. (Lily Oliver)

It was amazing and I am grateful for the work the staff put into this day.  I really enjoyed the day of activities. (Anna Clarke)
