Overview
GRADE H4 (9) + FRINGE ALLOWANCE
37 hours per week (shift pattern to be agreed)
Salary £23,700 per annum (including fringe allowance)
The role is a full-time position working 52 weeks per year with 24 days holiday

We have a vacancy for a reliable and enthusiastic person to join our premises staff. The successful candidate will have responsibility for opening/closing the school and for providing a clean, healthy and safe environment for users of the school buildings and grounds.

Personal attributes
The role will involve carrying out maintenance and repair work, requiring non-specialist skills, to the school building, grounds, fixtures and fittings, general lifting and assisting the premises team with cleaning duties. You must have practical DIY skills, and proficiency in the operation of machinery, an understanding and ability to support the implementation of relevant policies including Health and Safety and CoSHH would be an advantage.
The successful applicant should be a good communicator and happy to work as part of a small team but also to work on their own initiative. A flexible approach is very important.
