Oct 3rd / Last Friday lunchtime, Loreto teachers took the opportunity to catch up with one another over a cup of coffee and a slice of cake (or two).  This delightful event was all part of the “world’s largest coffee morning”, set up by Macmillan.  Many members of staff brought in cakes and then sold them to one another.   Several members of the sixth form also donated money.   Some girls from 11T made cakes and sold them to students, and some girls from 8T ran a “guess the number of sweets in the jar” competition.  Meg and Alessia in 8S won – there were 258!  Thanks to all who took part and donated money.  Altogether £255 was raised for Macmillan.  A fantastic effort!
