Jan 12th / Every year, our school librarian Mrs Parkin selects a book which she thinks will hold appeal for readers of all ages, and then encourages every single member of the school to read it before the year is over.

This year she has selected One by Sarah Crossan.  Described by one young reviewer as “funny and heart-warming”, One is the story of conjoined twins Grace and Tippi.  To learn more about their story and to read a few more reviews, click here.

We very much hope that all members of our community will take up the challenge and make a point of reading this book at some time this year.  During the next couple of weeks, Mrs Parkin will be telling our pupils more about why she chose this particular story.
