Joy Week

As part of our celebration of the joy of creation, Y7 pupils created their own variations on Van Gogh’s famous sunflower painting: Some Year 8 pupils wrote poems about the joy of creation. Here’s an example:

Art Exhibition

World Poetry Day

World Poetry Day happened to fall at a time when Year 7 students were studying Japan in their Geography lessons, so they tried their hand at some Japanese Haiku poetry. Here’s a great example from Rebecca Tome (7F), who clearly put a lot of thought and effort into her work.

Sixth Form Lenten Fundraising

The Sixth Form are working hard to raise money for Cancer Research. All students took part in a ‘Just Dance’ event on Friday 14th March in return for a minimum contribution of £1.50. All took part and had a lot of fun trying out various dance routines!
